Topic: Why don't you ???
TRUE STORY---The group SANCTIFIED performed in Tulsa. There was a lady that wanted to buy a CD but didn't have any cash. I said "we take debit or credit" !! She said "ok" and pulled out her debit card. I proceeded to write the information down to take back and put in the computer, but forgot to write the expiration date down. She took the CD and went home. I called the lady, explain who I was and said "I was just calling for the expiration date on your debit card", she says "I changed my mind, I will just send you a check". Why don't African-Americans buy their favorite ACAPPELLA (African-American) music artists online or in person with a credit or debit card ?? Don't we use the debit card or credit card daily ?? Be honest, we get gas with it, buy food, clothes, shoes with it, some of us even pay our monthly bills with it !!! We can do all of that on a bases, but when it comes to purchasing music from a good acappella group that just got off stage singing your favorite songs that has CDs for sale and has the ability to take debit or credit, we can't seem to do it. Because we use the CARD so much, we don't even carry cash, so we use the debit card for all our shopping EXCEPT for buying CDs. You know you have some money, but when you look in your purse or wallet you don't have anything but that good ole' DEBIT or CREDIT CARD, no cash. Instead of doing the normal daily function (whipping out the debit card) we say "I'll have to get it next time, I have no cash". Why did you just say that ?? Would you say that at the gas pump or your local Walmart ?? Is the (christian) African-American business person/singer not trust worthy ?? What is it ?? Please, be honest and tell me what it is.
